Volunteer Your Services Today

There are other ways you can contribute to your community! BAME welcomes volunteers to assist with special projects, participate in workshops and community activities, and to assist in the office. Volunteers are asked to commit to a specific project or activity and to abide by the rules of BAME's volunteer program.

Current volunteer opportunities include:

Outreach volunteers. Help make calls, update mailing lists, or distribute flyers and other information through neighborhood networks and outlets about upcoming activities. Includes office work and work in the neighborhoods;

Homeownership Workshops: Periodic workshops offered for persons interested in exploring their home purchase options. Volunteer opportunities exist for trained and licensed housing professionals, including Realtors, community lenders, insurance agents, inspectors, and others, to participate in workshops;

Office volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help with basic office tasks, including mailings, filing, running simple errands, and other tasks as they are assigned. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking service learning hours.
